SupaFunky Electronic Dance Music for the raver who wants to be reminded of God's love while dancing.

Antidote is Jorge and Leigh Goyco and they live in Austin, Texas.

The new album (Forget Yourself) release date is May 30th, 2000. Available in both Christian music/book stores as well as Wherehouse Music and Tower Records. This time they've specialized in their own style of Trance/ FunkyBreaks.

 They released their debut full length album (Fight or Flight) in April of 99 that is a full 73 minutes of SupaFunky Dance Music. Compare them to Bjork, Sneaker Pimps, Portishead, Uberzone, Propellorheads, Orbital, FSOL. They consider their music style to be Electronic/Dance/Trip Hop/Funky/Acid/Trance/Jungle.

A prerelease (What Mountain?) might still be available for purchase...look around for it. Released in May of 98.

 Antidote has played in and around the Austin, Texas area, as well as Cornerstone '97, '98 & '99 in Bushnell, Illinois (a 5 day music festival). They have also performed at several venues in San Antonio, Ft. Worth, Dallas, Houston, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

Antidote has a track on the N.SOUL compilations "Eclectica", “Future Sounds” and “Eclectica3”.

 In November of 1997, antidote's story (A Techno Band Getting Signed) was featured on the MTV program called "MTV News Unfiltered." They interviewed NSOUL artists, record store clerks, and people on the street, and got some interesting views. It has since aired about 6 times and the transcript is online.

 Antidote's live performance consists of Jorge spinning antidote tracks on a dual CD mixer along with strange noises and interludes and recorded samples of sermons being preached right along with the music. They've also got some cool 1960s-70s educational films and some animated loops that have been mixed and intertwined onto video (VHS), and dancing mascots.

Antidote's mission: To present God's good new of Jesus to the world's ravers, to help keep Christian Ravers from going astray by encouraging them into a deeper relationship with God, and to fight in prayer and love for all the world's ravers.
