How would you describe sheltershed? Some would say it’s Techno. Others would claim it to be "Underground". Most find themselves at a loss for words. If you ask Wil Foster, the founding member of the group, even he would find it a challenge to describe the unique sound.

Sheltershed has been 13 years in the making. Wil Foster started DJing at age 15.and was on a regular rotation at some of Melborne's biggest Clubs by 18.

He was driven by a passion for electronic music and its’ surrounding culture. by the early 90's Wil was a intricate part of the Australian Rave culture, partisipating in Internationaly recognised Raves. and Living a lifestyle far from God. During his sophomore year at a American Christian university, Wil rededicated and refocused his life, and sought to seek and save the culture that once consumed him.

Sheltershed became one step closer to reality when Wil teamed up with Craig White and Rob Tippey. Both with an equal passion for reaching the unchurched rave culture. With their combined efforts, these three developed a successful Christian house rave ministry This enabeled them to branch out into the seculare Rave seen.

The members now share a similar passion to provide quality Christian electronic music for today’s youth. Sheltershed designs their live performance to be more like an "Experience" than a typical rock concert. In place of guitars and drum sets, you will find the band members surrounded by futuristic console-like machinery much like that found on the Starship Enterprise. The explosion of sights and sounds contribute to this unconventional and unique praise experience.


mission : Sheltershed is an underground ministry experience which seeks to provide a means of worship and Christian celebration. To accomplish this, sheltershed provides an avenue for praise through music, dance and community. Through its unconventional style, sheltershed is dedicated to serventhood and upholding traditional Christian values.

over the past 24 months sheltershed has -partnered with numerous organizations including: Youth For Crist,JPUSA (Jesus people USA), Black Fly eye wear, Flamingfish INC, IWU (Indiana Weslyan University) and several christian Radio stations and churches

- 30 some preformances consisting of Youth rallies, Rave parties, Christian Concerts and Festivals.

-Charted on the Christain electronic circuit, providing internatinal exposure featured in christian publications world wide.

-Wil foster receved Dove award in 1999 for his involvment in Benson recording artists "Massivivid" and is currently one thrird of christian industrial veterans "Deitiphobia"

-Have had two successfull independant relesses, and have been featured on five Christian music compilations which have had world wide exposure.

- Have remixed traxs for The echoing Green,Twitch,Buck,Deitiphobia and Massivivid.
