While living in the "loft" district of downtown Los Angeles five years ago, they were drawn to the L.A. underground club scene. Fontamillas and Peralta followed the rave scene for the love of techno music. They began to see the need to reach young people in the clubs with Gospel music. Fontamillas and Peralta developed their own genre of techno and within two years they produced a song for L.A. Hardcore Vol. I, a compilation of underground techno music released on VRG/Drive Entertainment, ZYX Records. Combining their talents with Gyro and Jerome of Mortal, they released the first critically acclaimed techno disc on Myx Records in 1992 under the name Jyradelix. The release introduced the CCM market to underground rave music and sparked several other recordings featuring the distinctive style. Erinfall combines a blend of live instruments, samples, beats and messages, synthesized keyboards, guitars and vocals that result in a totally new cutting edge sound! |
