On judgment day like chosen wine
Law and rule at last will stand
Unreviled and ashamed
Naked in the holy rain
When death has died with father time
And the earth our former land
Order set by old decree
That all will come with bended knee
Constrained by choices that were made
These mortal shells a deathly frame
Judged illusions one will see
How every breath was blaspheme
Drawn unflinching to the grave
Lies convincing just the same
So stubbornly they march abreast
None can save them from this death
Graven in stone, written on the heart
Grieving for the truth which would have set apart
In need of Light
Light and the perfection's
The law of grace, the pale of resurrection

Once before, in chosen time
The first man thought he understood
The consequence to his choice came
And left his children lost in pain
In that garden came to find
The One true, holy, just and good
Who was, and is, and is to be
Embodied, tortured, on a tree
Without our Lord to be obeyed
We each are lost on desert plains
So love created law and creed
Christ alone would set us free
In holy writ salvation played
The law is noble, self profane
Fulfilled in Christ's own righteousness
Like compass true, so we are blessed
Graven in stone, written on our hearts
Thankful for the truth which has set us apart
We have the Light
Light and the perfection's
The law of grace, the pale of resurrection
