Christian Ska from the east coast is rare but The Skadaddles have definitely given the East Coast Ska sound a name. The Skadaddles could very well be the youngest ska band ever to get signed to a record company. There are three brothers in the band and 9 members total. Now before you start thinking "this is Hanson trying to play ska" listen to more about this band. Being together for over 2 years, The Skadaddles are one of the most successful east coast ska bands.
Hailing from GA, The Skadaddles, have toured as an indie band as far west as Texas and Mexico and as far north as Wisconsin. They have played with Squad 5-0, The Insyderz, The Waiting, World against World, Rocketboy, Mustard Plug, Grammatrain, and Havalina Rail Company logging over 80 shows last year. This hard working 9 piece, is managed by a mom and pop team which keeps the focus on Jesus. They have two lead singers and a bass player that is only 13 years old. Skuter Malpass gets a lot of attention for his talent and age.
"Ska has been around since the late 50s and is not just a trend that is going to come and go easily. Ska has it's own following and as more people learn about it, more people join the scene"
Matt Malpass, Skadaddles singer in 7-Ball Magazine, May June Issue - Skadadddles Interview.
"You put it in and you can't help but dance. They do put a lot of energy into the whole album. The guitarist is great at playing ska and they have a great drummer so you can really feel the ska rhythms."

P. Ostertitter, Summerville, SC - one of the thousands of Skadaddles fan!
Stronger song writing than most ska bands, the repertoire deals with facing life as a teenager while injecting a strong message of the joy of Christianity. The Skadaddles are not ashamed to let people know that Jesus Christ is the one who has changed each of their lives individually and that message comes through loud and clear on stage. The super fun cover on the CD represents the happy attitude of the band which is contagious and spreading across the land. The album was mixed by David Martis, manager for Rocket boy and producer of Third Day.
